Village Players Presents Disney's Pinocchio
Village Players, 34660 Woodward Ave, Birmingham, MI | Get Directions »
$12.00
Classic Pinocchio tale, with a twist! That’s the best way to describe the youth theatre of the Village Players' upcoming musical production of Disney’s My Son Pinocchio. Based on the television movie Geppetto, the show tells the story of Pinocchio from Geppetto and the Blue Fairy’s view point which adds quite a bit of humor to the age-old story. This lively musical features a zany cast of characters who are involved with Pinocchio as he runs away from Geppetto—the evil Stromboli, the Professor Buonragazzo who is creating “idyllic” children and the Ringleader of Pleasure Island where all the delinquents run wild. The whole family is sure to recognize some favovite tunes such as “When You Wish Upon a Star” and I’ve Got Not Strings and are bound to enjoy the new music written for the show by composer Steven Schwartz.
Show dates: December 6, 7 & 8 at 7:00 and December 8 & 9 at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are $12 for children and students and $15 for adults. Group rates are available for 10 or more attending the same show.
