The church and society ministry will offer two forums dealing with the 2012 United Methodist General Conference and homosexuality.
The Jan. 9 session will include a presentation on "Update on General Conference" from Rev. Joy Barrett and Wayne Bank, a member of the delegration.
The Jan. 27 session includes the presentation, "Rights or Rites? Same Sex Marriage, Church and State" with Dan Krichbaum, director of the Michigan Civil Rights Commission, the Rev. Marsha Woolley and Rev. Jill Zundel.
