Enjoy the 32nd season of the In the Park Concerts in Shain Park this summer. Your entire family will delight in a wide variety of musical performances. Bring a blanket, spread out on the lawn and enjoy the show.

June 15: Battle of the Bands (high school band jam)
June 20: Steve Acho (contemporary)
June 27: Birmingham Concert Band (orchestra music)
July 11: Acoustic Brothers from Different Mothers (country, jazz and rock)
July 18: 730 Club Band (soft rock)
July 25: AllenAsTim (country — family night featuring line dancing and face-painting)
Aug. 1: Byron in Motion (motown)
Aug. 8: 7 Grams of Fat (soft rock)
Aug. 15: LEGEND The Band (50's and 60's tunes)

More About Shain Park
Located in heart of downtown Birmingham, Shain Park is a gathering place for Birmingham's residents. Boxed between Martin, Merrill, Henrietta and Bates streets, the park is a popular spot to relax, enjoy an open-air lunch or watch a concert. And with City Hall, the Birmingham Community House and Baldwin Public Library next door, there's no way to miss it.
With an elegant sculpture as its centerpiece, the park is flanked by two focus points. An open-air concert stage sits on the south end, while a fountain adorns the north side. In between there is plenty of open green space for a game of tag or tossing a ball.
