DESCRIPTION:Hope for Humanity\nNajah Bazzy is well known locally and inte
 rnationally for her lectures on topics related to Islam\, including inte
 rfaith dialogue\, gender equity and equality\, human rights\, and medica
 l ethics. Since 9/11\, she has spoken to thousands of non-Muslims and ha
 s engaged extensively in interfaith outreach that includes the United St
 ates Army\, United States Department of Justice\, New Detroit\, and the 
 Susan B. Komen Foundation. She is noted for her "ambassador" style of di
 plomatic dialogue.\nShe is the founder of Zaman International and in 199
 6 formed Bayt Al Zahra\, a program to aid in refugee resettlement that p
 rovides food\, clothes\, shelter\, medicine and everyday necessities to 
 indigent families in the Detroit metro area.\nNajah Bazzy and her family
  were featured in the PBS documentary "Muhammed: Legacy of a Prophet". S
 he has been featured in newspapers and nursing journals and also on tele
 vision and radio - both nationally and internationally. Her internationa
 l travels have taken her to Lebanon\, Egypt\, Saudi Arabia\, Dubai\, Bah
 rain and Syria. She continues to work to bridge the gap between East and
  West.\nShe has been married for 30 years to Allie Bazzy and they have f
