CARE House of Oakland County, a nonprofit serving the needs of abused and neglected children, hosts Cheryl Burke, from ABC hit, “Dancing With The Stars” during its annual Circle of Friends benefit luncheon Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. The two-time “Dancing With The Stars” champion shares her story of overcoming childhood abuse. The event benefits CARE House’s advocacy and child abuse prevention programs.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with lunch served at noon, with the program following. Jim Weissenborn of Bloomfield Hills will be recognized as special honoree for the evening
CARE House supporters are also invited to join Burke at a private Preview Party & Strolling Supper to benefit CARE House prior to the luncheon, on the evening of Jan. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the home of Vicki and Tom Celani in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. The Celanis are Circle of Friends Preview Party Chairs.
The Circle of Friends luncheon event is generously underwritten by Mackinac Partners. Event Co-Chairs are Maryclare Pulte of Birmingham and Kappy Hommel-Trott of Birmingham.
