Birmingham/Bloomfield CROP Walk
Church World Service will be holding its annual CROP Walk in Birmingham this year, a walk held every year for the past 30 years.
The group will partner with the First United Methodist Church of Birmingham. There will be three routes of varying length, including a one and a half-mile walk, three-mile walk and a five-mile tour.
All routes will end at the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham.
The event is expected to raise $35,000 for Church World Service. During the past 20 years, CROP walks in communities across the county have raised more than $264 million to assist those struggling to feed their families.

Now located off of West Maple Road, the church sits on a sprawling campus, with several courtyards and an outdoor worship center. First United Methodist offers youth ministries for all ages, adult groups and missionary programs for those looking to serve in Detroit, across Michigan, nationally or across the world.
