All buildings in the Birmingham Public School district will be open this Sunday for the annual districtwide open house. The only building not participating is the Birmingham Covington School, which will hold its own open house on Dec. 2.
Take a closer look at the programs and opportunities available through Birmingham Public Schools. Meet school staff members, visit classrooms and talk with students and parents that are already taking advantage of a world class education in their backyard.

Serving more than 8,000 students in Birmingham, Beverely Hills, Bingham Farms, Franklin and Bloomfield Township, the Birmingham Public School District is made up of two high schools, eight elementary schools, two middle schools, an alternative high school program, and the Birmingham Covington School. Additional facilities include an early childhood center, a senior citizens' center and a conference center.
The district also offers special education, half-day preschools, commuity education programs, interscholastic and intermural sports and vocational education.
