In this world of the internet, cable tv, smart phones, earphones, big screen tv, social media — our very existence is frought with the banter of technology. Yet present in our very midst of existence is the simple genius of nothingless.

We must become detached from the wealth of technology not because we fear the excessive usage of technology. Here in our Birmingham hamlet another reality exists that is parallel to the world of gadgets and machines.

The landscape of silence is beautiful when the machines are not present to cloud the terrain. I hope to recapture the aura of an empty space void of noise, chatter, ringtones and sounds. I plan to seek a vogage to a place where the beauty of nothingness fills my landscape.

Consider the moment of nothingness even if it is only a minute.The bliss of silence. The pastoral terrain of  quiet. A moment alone with nothing....
