What's Happening in Birmingham this November

You'll be busy, not bored, in Birmingham this month.

 

The weather is getting colder, Halloween is behind us, and the holidays are on the horizon. That means one thing — November is here.

The month starts with Birmingham Patch's one-year anniversary and ends with the city's tree-lighting ceremony in Shain Park, officially kicking off the holiday season.

Patch will keep you up to date with what's going on every week, but we've got your monthly look ahead to keep as a handy reference.

Week 1: Nov. 1-6

  • Nov. 21-22: High school exams
  • Nov. 22: End of second trimester for high school students
  • Nov. 23: City tree-lighting ceremony
  • Nov. 23: Santa House opens
  • Nov. 23-25: No school for Birmingham Public Schools students
  • Nov. 24: Thanksgiving
