Weekend Weather: Chance of Rain Saturday, Temperatures in Low 60's Sunday
Expect sunny skies and a high of 61 degrees Sunday, perfect for downtown Birmingham's Pumpkin Patch and Halloween Parade.
The weekend looks to be cool and cloudy, though you might want to grab an umbrella on Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service, Saturday's forecast looks to be cloudy all day, with a high near 54 degrees. Keep a jacket handy, though, because there's a 40 percent chance of showers all day.
Saturday night, the clouds stick around while the low dips down to a chilly 42 degrees.
Sunday, however, the skies clear up. The sun will come out, the National Weather Service says, and the high will climb to 61 degrees. That makes it a perfect day for the various Halloween-related events happening in and around Birmingham, including:
- Pumpkin Patch and Halloween Parade: 1-4 p.m. Sunday in Shain Park.
- Halloween Hoot: Noon Sunday at Beverly Hills' Beverly Park.
Sunday night, the lows will dip down to 46 degrees. Meanwhile, looking ahead to your Monday morning commute, the skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 65 degrees.
