Soon after the video-rental chain Blockbuster declared bankruptcy in 2010, Birmingham's Blockbuster store closed and left a gaping vacancy at 494 S. Old Woodward Ave., just south of the city's downtown core.
Birmingham Patch wants to know: What's your vision for this building?
According to LoopNet.com, the building, located at the corner of South Old Woodward and Frank Street, has 6,022 square feet available for lease for $22 per square foot — or $132,484 for the entire building — per year.
You don't need to be a commercial developer or city planner — or have money to invest in a business project — to have the next great idea. We want to hear about it.

I would like to see a nice retail store for the whole family with quality clothes and affordable prices. shoes at the main floor and clothing upstairs. It is perfect spot for the whole family to shop with convenient parking
