The Lido Summer Poetry and Fiction Series kicked off on July 11, bringing together a large group of of area poetry writers and fans.
Springfed Arts sponsored the event at Lido Gallery & Gifts. During the Monday night premiere event, Terry Blackhawk, Edward Haworth Hoeppner and Karin Hoffecker took the stage, following Springfed Arts Director John Lamb's introductions. Poets read powerful poems about summer, loved ones, war, nature and more.
