The Brother Rice hockey team celebrates the 2012 D2 title at Compuware Arena.

Brother Rice rules the high school hockey world.

Brother Rice defeated Grosse Pointe South 4-1 in the Division 2 boys hockey state championship on Saturday at Plymouth’s Compuware Arena.

Russell Cicerone scored twice for Brother Rice. Eric Dibble and Mackenzie MacEachern also had goals for the Warriors, who finished with a 25-4-1 record.

Jake Corden scored for Grosse Pointe South.

Brother Rice reached the finals by beating Forest Hills Eastern 5-0 on Friday.

The Blue Devils finished with a record of 22-6-1. They had advanced to the title game with a victory over Port Huron Northern on Thursday.
