When a successful business entrepreneur meets a creative interior designer, what emerges is a retail store with a little Added Oomph!

“Added Oomph! is a retail store offering eclectic home accessories, shabby chic furniture and gifts to consumers wanting to create a personalized home environment — that ‘I'm home’ feeling,” said store owner and interior designer Janet Glenn, who opened Added Oomph! alongside Pam Dennis.

The duo was recently joined by the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber to celebrate their grand opening at 2121 Cole St. in the Rail District with a ribbon cutting and open house.

“In addition to the offering of unique products and unparalleled customer service we believe our twist is having the store operated by an experienced interior designer that will complement the customer experience,” said Dennis speaking of Genn’s 25 years of experience and expertise that includes merchandising, marketing, purchasing and interior design.
