How long you've had it: 13 years
Why this car? Mamyek said he bought his purple 1948 Ford Coupe in 1998 because it was a car "my dad always had" while he was growing up.
Why do you love the Dream Cruise? Mamyek said he loves seeing the parade of nostalgia on Woodward, particularly the celebration of American-made cars. Plus, it doesn't hurt to hang out with family, including his brother Richard, who was also at the Cruise with his 1967 Buick Wildcat.
