Here's what's coming up this week in high school playoff action:
It's time to shine for the girls of the Detroit Country Day girls basketball team. This week is the last for the girls tournament, with quarterfinal play beginning Tuesday. Semifinals and finals will be held at the Breslin Center this weekend in Lansing. The lady Yellowjackets easily brushed past their opponent in the Class B regional final, beating Pontiac-Notre Dame Prep 69-42 on March 10.
Meanwhile, the boys basketball tournament heads into regional play. Brother Rice, Detroit Country Day and Roeper came out on top in their district tournaments last week and will face off on a regional level in their respective divisions. The winners from Monday night's games will play in regional finals Wednesday.
