Brother Rice's Andrew Napieraj Nabs Second at MHSAA Wrestling Individual Finals

The Warriors' standout junior wins second place in the 145-pound weight class Saturday at the Palace.

Brother Rice High School's Andrew Napieraj finished second in the 145 lb. weight class during the the Michigan High School Athletic Association state wrestling finals this weekend at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Napieraj, a former Patch Athlete of the Week, was the first Warrior to appear in the state finals since Derek Moscovic won his 3rd straight State Championship in 1992, according to the school's Facebook page.
