Stoney River Steakhouse Comes Before City Commission Monday
The Birmingham City Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Birmingham City Hall.
Appointments:
- Steven Kalczynski, the new general manager of the Townsend Hotel, will interview for a spot on the Advisory Parking Committee.
- Douglas Fehan and Judith Soloman will interview for a spot on the Principal Shopping District Board. Both are residents of the district. Both would serve four-year terms to expire in November 2016.
Consent Agenda:
The City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the final site plan and special land use permit for the Stoney River Steakhouse, which is looking to replace Max & Erma's on East Merrill.
Also on Monday, commissioners will consider a request to move the proposed site for a Ducati motorcycle dealership from 394 S. Old Woodward to 670 S. Old Woodward. The city commission approved a requst to open the Ducati dealership on South Old Woodward in late August.
Also at the city commission meeting Monday, commissioners will consider approving an agreement between Birmingham and LSL Planning. LSL Planning would provide consulting services for the South Woodward Gateway Corridor Plan for a total of $46,500.
