City Slashes Golf Rates For Fall, Lifts Leisure Pass Requirement

Changing leaves and cooler temperatures aren't the only advantages to golfing in the fall. Effective Monday, Sept. 26, discounted fall rates will be in effect at Birmingham's Lincoln Hills and Springdale Golf Course. In addition, the city is lifting the requirement that all golfers purchase an official city leisure pass to hit the links — the courses are now open to the public.

The discounted rates are:

  • $11.50 for adult leisure pass holders
  • $6.50 for senior and junior leisure pass holders
  • $16 for adult guests
  • $10 for senior and junior guests

Discounted rates apply on both weekdays and weekends. Springdale Golf Course is slated to close for the season on Oct. 16 while Lincoln Hills will remain open throughout October, weather permitting.

To make a reservation at both courses, call 248-530-1670 for Lincoln Hills and 248-530-1660 for Springdale. City leisure passes can be purchased by Birmingham residents at the Birmingham Ice Sports Arena. A year pass costs $15 while renewals are $10.
